Janet McQuhae

Janet McQuhae has worn many hats over the years.  She has worked in retail, banking, the lumber and automotive industries and has 6 years of College/ University Education. She holds a Permanent Teaching Certificate in Industrial Arts, a Graphics Arts Certificate and has attended Business College.  After teaching, she became self employed, challenging herself at renovating homes, building garages and decks, specializing in cabinets, desks and other furniture for the physically challenged. Jan is the type of artist that can put a thought into reality in almost any media. She has designed and built sets for plays, done etchings, made bronze pieces, created numerous business cards and flyers and has done illustrations for 4 books. Patricia came to Janet with an idea of a map and what she wanted it to do. Janet created the Generic City Map and made over half of the clip art displayed on the map. Janet knows how it feels to accomplish a project and see the smile on the recipient's face. So, if she can create something to help anyone excel and increase his or her self-esteem she will find a way to do it. Jan cares deeply about the world around her and works in her community with the elderly and as a volunteer fire fighter. She can be reached at janmc@creativeeducationalhelp.com or by using the email form on the Contact Us page of this site.
